Aaron Lauritsen, President and Project Coordinator

Aaron has been in the landscape industry for over 15 years and has been certified by the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) as one of only a handful of Certified Landscape Professionals (CLP) in Canada. This is a North American Designation and is proof of his continued commitment to professionalism, industry certification and industry advancement; it recognizes his diverse industry knowledge and portfolio.

Once the project has started, apart from the onsite landscape foreman, Aaron will be your direct contact during and after construction.

Tammy Lauritsen, Vice President and Office Manager

Tammy is relatively new to the industry having only a few years of experience. Her role has more of an administrative nature but from time to time you will see her onsite in a supporting role, usually placing shrubs for the installers or just generally getting in the way. She is responsible for managing the accounts, recruitment, employee needs, marketing and supplier networking. Before Tammy worked for GLI she was a chemical technologist  with Shell Canada's research facility at the University of Calgary, her experience in that field has prepared her well to run the various aspects of the Company office.

Sandra Jahnke, Designer and Estimator

Sandra Has been involved with landscape design and installation on both the commercial and residential scales for nearly a decade. She will typically be the first face to face contact a client will have with the company, usually during the initial consultation, estimate and design phase of a construction project. Sandra is highly qualified and has attained numerous accreditations which demonstrate her commitment to professionalism and industry advancement.  Those qualifications include but are not limited to an EDDT diploma from S.A.I.T. in engineering, design and drafting technology, a 2 year L.A.T. diploma (Landscape Architectural Technologist) from N.A.I.T and a diploma in Horticulture from Olds College with a major in ornamental horticulture and landscape management.

How We Work

  1. Initial contact: Contact us via email, phone or fax to set up a consultation. You can alternately use our online Consultation/Quote Request form.
  2. Consultation: We will set up a free consultation with you and our estimator to discuss the latest and most up to date information, techniques and products offered within the landscape construction industry as well as answer any questions you might have. At the meeting we will also identify ideas, concerns, special considerations and community architectural controls in place should any exist.
  3. Estimate: We will prepare and send you a free estimate for your project.
  4. Design: Once a budget has been identified and based on the scale of the project, our CLP, landscape designer or landscape architect technician will work closely with you to create a professional CAD design for the project.
  5. Contract: After the design phase we will draft a contract and schedule a timeframe for construction.
  6. Final walk-through: Upon completion of the work we will do a final walk-through of the property to ensure all work has been completed to the highest standards.

The job is not finished until the client is completely satisfied.
